The Quinney family is connected to the Morrisons through the Creeches when Jane Quinney married William Creech in 1818. Their daughter Jane married William Morrison in 1850.
The name Quinney is contracted from Mac Connaidh, 'Connadh's son.' (Connaidh, meaning 'crafty').
